Services

Over the years, residential buildings of all types as well as small and mid-sized commercial projects have been the major scope of my work.
My firm is small but powerfully productive. I rely on a team of external engineers from all fields of construction including structural, mechanical, electrical, building science, geotechnical, surveying, construction management, etc.
We work with the most advanced technologies that allow our small team to administer large and complex projects with ease.

Experience

I have over 25 years of experience as an architect: 14 years in Germany and 12 years in Canada.
From Germany, I have inherited a strong engineering vein.

Location

My office is located in Calgary, Alberta. The radius of practice encompasses Alberta and other provinces.

Philosophy

My interest lies in contemporary, modern architecture. Above all, architecture for me is an art. With every new assignment, I search for the unorthodox solution which should be unconventional, and at the same time, challenges me to expand my horizons.
I am dedicated to achieving excellent technical solutions and construction details. This dedication draws from a rich knowledge base of the engineering side of construction.
Solutions should also be practical. If solutions are practical, they are simple to build and cost-efficient. Many years of experience on construction sites have taught me this. I strongly invite all my clients to play a crucial role in the design process to ensure that their aspirations and needs are met in the best possible way.
